Nutritious Lunch Program

The Lunch Program is offered to seniors 60 years or older that meet an annual eligibility requirement. To learn if you meet the requirements of this program call us at 409-770-6251. We serve lunch Monday through Friday. Certified dieticians plan every meal to ensure that seniors are getting a tasty, yet, well balanced meal. A certified food handler oversees our operation, everyday. The atmosphere is casual and seniors experience the pleasure of dining together and socializing with others. Meals are served at our three community centers in Dickinson, Bacliff and La Marque. Please visit the Community Center pages to view the daily lunch menus: Bayside Community Center, Dickinson Community Center, Wayne Johnson Community Center. Be sure to check back often to see what’s for lunch as our menus change each month.

Meal orders should be called into 409-770-6251 one day ahead to request a meal for the following day.

Although there is no cost to eligible seniors for this program, in-kind and monetary donations are greatly needed and appreciated. For more information please call us at 409-770-6251 or email us.

Funding for the congregate meal program is provided by the Houston-Galveston Area Council and Texas Health & Human Services Commission.
